About

I have been around since 1984. Was a professional journalist from 2006 to 2009. Now I am an editor. I love writing and the purpose of this blog is to share with the world the knowledge of God and develop relationships with different kinds of people. Music has been my passion before I knew my first words. When I learnt to speak and write words, I learnt to play with them and about the power of words. I am no ‘know-it-all’ or great expert author.. All I write is the credited to my Maker, the God Most High.. I don’t expect everyone to appreciate it, but I definitely expect all to comment, criticise and help me grow as a writer and poet

    • Thank you very much Sebastian. I really appreciate you following and diving into my blog. Please do comment. I love hearing what other people have to say. God bless you abundantly and let the wonders of heaven pour out over your life. Blessings!

    • You’re welcome SC! I will do that! Thank you for the Blessing, and I wish the same for you and yours!

  3. Hi sister! Thanks for subscribing to my blog–wow! I’d kind of lost track of you–“so many great writers, so little time….” Wishing you a much-blessed day!!

    • My dearest sister Caddo, I completely understand. I was meaning to follow you since long. But I would visit your blog and completely forget. It was about time! I wouldn’t consider myself a great writer, I am still learning. Do pray that someday I publish a few books, God willing. You have a blessed day engulfed in God’s mighty manifest presence! God bless

  4. Ah, all I just wanted to, was see you smile and you..! Sigh.

I think I’ll keep my striped pants and star of David after all!

  5. Lighten up, dear. You write okay , i.e. for a ‘ol nun, sorry a scribe but even, the lord Himself doesn’t wear such long faces!

    • lol… I don’t mind critics, but your comment sure made me smile… Thanks and God bless you. FYI: everyone who lives a life of devotion to God is not a nun. You can have a full-time job and yet be serving God. The greatest men in the Bible worked, while they preached and established churches. Of this fact, I guess you are ignorant and fall for a common Christian stereotype. Please be careful when you fall for your own presumptions too fast. I am pretty bright and chirpy most times so thanks for your concern. Basically, you don’t get what is written. Well, my writing caters to a particular audience, which you are clearly not a part of. I know I write okay, I don’t claim to be a maestro and I don’t know what gave you that notion. Please read this slow and breath while ou do so: “I don’t expect everyone to appreciate it, but I definitely expect all to comment, criticise and help me grow as a writer and poet” – which means I am still getting better. Any more proverbial stones you would like to cast? Good day to you *tips hat”.

Vazr, your comment made me laugh out loud. I wish your comment was funny though, so I could laugh with meaning to it, but it made me laugh because of how ignorant that comment was. I actually went to your profile to see how old you were because I’ve never heard an understanding adult say rude stuff like that upfront to anyone. Wow! I am a Kindergarten teacher by the way πŸ™‚ It made me think of this analogy… some people love Chinese food and some people love Indian food. Sometimes, either of them don’t like the other cuisine which is okay, it doesn’t make it wrong, it’s just a matter of taste and preference. My point though, is if someone doesn’t like say Chinese food, they have no right to judge it or presume it is a certain way just coz they don’t like it, they should just be positive and instead just stop going to a Chinese restaurant and eat somewhere else. Simple as that πŸ™‚ Scribecorner I like your blog. It’s pretty honest about your walk with God and what you encounter or think about day to day. May I also add that old nuns are cool, hahahaha, seriously, I grew up in a convent and those were some of the best women I knew and I learned a great deal from their wisdom, strength of character and complete devotion to God totally unfazed or unshaken by silly comments from people who don’t know. One more thing I learned from them is that we aren’t here to please everyone πŸ™‚ If someone has a problem with what you are doing, that’s when you know you’ve still got it girl, coz it’s giving people something to talk about and cannot be ignored ;D. So I’d actually consider Vazr’s comment a compliment πŸ™‚ Thanks Vazr πŸ™‚ It’s all good πŸ™‚ Much love πŸ™‚

    • Hi Eden,

Thanks for stopping by. I just read your blog/journal. Very impressive! Really like the initiative and would love to contribute. I cannot send you an email at this moment as I am at office and we are not allowed to send emails out. I am truly blest as wordpress is not blocked. It is a miracle! I do have a couple of questions, which I will email tonight (IST). Hope to be of help to you. Be encouraged in Jesus and keep writing as words powered by Him have much power :).
      God bless,
      Rita

    • Thank you Rita, I’ll be keeping an eye out for your email. Blessings πŸ™‚

  10. Thank you for clicking the ‘like it’ tab on my humble blog. It is refreshing to see that other Christians are using their blogs as a platform in Gods work. It is Gods work of course, how else would we be able to speak out if His Spirit wasn’t in us? May He continue to use you in His work. Love

    Shirley Anne x

    • Hi Shirley,
It’s encouraging and refreshing to read other Christian bloggers. I learn a lot from others. We were after all called to build one another up in Jesus. Thanks so much for dropping by on my blog. Please do drop by often and leave comments and let me know what you think :). Seasons greetings and have a blessed time.
      Much love and blessings,
      Rita
